Your Responsibilities and Duties
- Establishment of a competence team in the field of medical physics and radiation protection
- Implementation of legal requirements in radiation protection according to the German Radiation Protection Act (StrlSchG) and Radiation Protection Ordinance (StrlSchV)
- Monitoring, testing and quality assurance of radiological equipment
- Analysis and optimisation of medical radiation exposures
- Preparation of technical specifications for radiological equipment and design of X-ray facilities
- Training of staff in radiation protection
Your Profile
- Completed Master's degree in medical physics according to the guideline Radiation Protection
- Medical physics expert with specialist knowledge in radiation protection or in the field of X-ray diagnostics and nuclear medicine
- Specialist recognition by the German Society for Medical Physics (DGMP) desirable
- First experience as a medical physicist
- German language level: C1
