As a headhunter, your job is to find and recruit talented specialists for companies. In other words, you do headhunting. Your work covers two main areas that are classified as recruiting: candidate acquisition and working with the companies that hire you.

Candidate acquisition

Candidate acquisition is about identifying and approaching the best talent on the job market. This requires a deep understanding of the industry you are working in, as well as a good network and strong research and sourcing skills. The steps in this process include

  1. Creating target person profiles
    Understanding the requirements of the position and the role the company needs to fill.
  2. Research and identification
    Active sourcing now includes the structured search for potential candidates through various communication channels such as social networks, industry databases, job portals and personal contacts.
  3. Direct approach
    Contacting potential candidates, presenting the position to be filled and conducting an initial orientation interview to determine whether a match can be made.
  4. Application checks
    As a headhunter, you are also involved in application management and conducting selection interviews. As a headhunter, in contrast to a recruitment agency, the preliminary assessment of candidates is part of the core task.   5. Candidate presentation Introduction

  6. Support during the application process
