Head of Staff Office of the Vice-President of the University

The University Controlling Department is responsible for controlling the financial resources (HR, material, investment and project funds) of the university and for the further development of strategic and operative controlling instruments. It is a staff position of the Vice President for Human Resources, Finance and University Construction.

The tasks of the university controller (m/f/d) include managing the staff unit with 14 team members and overall responsibility for the university's controlling.

We are looking for interested candidates with a university degree in economics, experience in university controlling in order to be able to competently support the central strategic future projects of university development, including financing solutions, as well as sound knowledge and a confident handling of the current SAP programmes.

Close Cooperation with the Presidential Board and the University President

The future Head of University Controlling will also assume responsibility in particular for the preparation of strategic university planning, economic plans, departmental budgets, capacity accounting as well as reporting or statistics - all in close consultation and cooperation with the Presidential Board and the University President on an equal footing.
