The Health Department is responsible for protecting and promoting the health of the population.
Your Workplace as a Public Health Officer (m/f/d)
As a licenced doctor for the paediatric and adolescent medical service in the district health office, you will be part of a loyal team with short coordination and decision-making channels to the head medical officer and the head of department.
The health office is centrally located with good public transport connections.
Your Responsibilities as Approbated Physician in Human Medicine (m/f/d)
- Implementation and monitoring of prevention and health promotion measures for children and adolescents in the district
- Carrying out school entry examinations
- Counselling of guardians and institutions on health promotion and prevention
- Interdisciplinary cooperation in working groups and other cooperation partners in the health, education and social sectors
Your Education and Qualification
- You are a licensed doctor of human medicine in Germany
- Ideally, you have completed further training as a specialist in paediatrics and adolescent medicine
- You have a class B driving licence
- German Language Skills: C1-Level
